SUMMARY:BWC Virtual Class: Electrical Basics
DESCRIPTION:BWC will be offering a small number of classes virtually during the COVID19 pandemic. All classroom classes have been cancelled for 2020\, and classroom cancellations will likely extend to most of the fiscal year ending June 2021. Virtual Training will provide an opportunity for students to learn remotely\, while still ensuring the safety of our customers. All credits associated with a training class scheduled at a physical location\, will also be provided to any Virtual Training classes.\n\n\n\nWho should attend? Employees who work with\, or are exposed to\, electrical hazards in the workplace and employees who are responsible for safety programs at their facilities including administrators\, supervisors\, safety coordinators\, safety teams\, and front line workers.\n\n\n\nYou will learn:\n\n	The components of an electrical safe work practice program.\n	Strategies and tools for developing a written electrical safe work practice program.\n	OSHA compliance issues relevant to electrical safe work practices.\n	Additional resources for assistance and support.\n\nAfter this course\, you will be able to:\n\n\n	Explain the elements of an electrical safe work program.\n	Develop strategies to safely manage electrical work.\n	Develop a written electrical safe work practices program.
