Halloween Comes Alive at Goodwill

September 11, 2017

Canton, OH – September 8, 2017 – This Halloween, look no further than your nearest Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio, Inc. (“Goodwill”) store to find unique costumes guaranteed to impress your friends and family. Each year, thousands of people visit Goodwill to find the pieces they need to create one-of-a-kind Halloween costumes for less. Festive merchandise is already on Goodwill’s sales floors and available for purchase.

Navigating a Goodwill store for Halloween is easy, because all of Goodwill’s 23 retail locations have a special “Costume Creation Station.” These stations have everything you need, separated and organized, to create a variety of adult and kids’ costumes inspired by these themes: superheroes, monsters, sports, witch, vampire, animal, decades, pirates, clowns, historical, wedding and more!
Additionally, all stores carry a selection of brand new merchandise, including costumes, wigs, masks, makeup, hats and spooky flair – all in original packaging and priced lower, to help you put the finishing touches on your costume.

Want to shop “off the rack?” Goodwill encourages its Halloween shoppers to browse the entire sales floor to get inspired or to look for a specific item. Count on Goodwill to have a flannel shirt to complete your lumberjack look, or a sparkly pair of shoes for a princess inspired costume.

“Whether you have a costume in mind or you need inspiration, Goodwill has you covered. Browse the aisles of clothing and unleash your creativity with accessories and ideas for group or themed costumes from Goodwill to complete your look,” Anne Richards, Goodwill’s President & CEO said. “Shopping at Goodwill is fun and helps the community. Your Goodwill purchase creates job placement and training programs for people looking for employment.”

After designing a unique, one-of-a-kind costume, visit Goodwill’s housewares department for special holiday décor. Goodwill has creepy spider webs, paper party goods, decorative crows and more. Shoppers may even see the first signs of Thanksgiving and Christmas, too!
