This was a marked changed from where he grew up in western Pennsylvania.  He then moved to the Forecast Office in Charleston\, WV.  After Charleston\, Fred worked at the regional headquarters just outside New York City where he was the program manager for Aviation and Severe Weather.  He returned to his hometown of Pittsburgh in September of 2010 as Warning Coordination Meteorologist.\n\n\n\nFred holds a B.S. in Meteorology from Penn State University and a M.S in Information Systems from Marshall University.
