DESCRIPTION:Topic: Heat Stress\n\nSpeaker: Ashley Griesenbrock\, CSP\, CIH\n\n\n\nAshley is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)\, Board-Certified Safety Specialist  (CSP) and industrial hygienist with more than nine years of experience.\n\n\n\nIn her role as an industrial hygienist at Safex\, she performs qualitative and quantitative industrial hygiene assessments\, including developing industrial hygiene sampling schemes\, calibrating industrial hygiene equipment\, conducting air and personal industrial hygiene monitoring\, submitting samples to laboratories and interpreting analytical data. She's experienced in conducting industrial hygiene sampling for organic vapors\, metals\, welding fumes\, silica\, total/respirable dust\, lubricants\, acids/bases and metal working fluids.\n\n\n\nAt Safex\, Ashley supports numerous clients. Some highlights include:\n\n  developing and implementing sampling strategies\;\n\n  interpreting results and helping with qualitative assessments at a large steel mill\;\n\n  serving as part of an audit team for an ice cream manufacturer and a retail clothing operation\; and\n\n  supporting a multi-facility refractory manufacturer with their exposure assessment program.\n\n\n\nAshley is experienced with sound level mapping and personal noise dosimetry in various occupational environments\, and indoor environmental air surveys to evaluate moisture intrusion and airborne and surface fungal concentrations. Additionally\, Ashley provides regulatory interpretation of OSHA standards to clients\, respirator fit testing\, ergonomic assessments and lab hood evaluations.\n\n\n\nAshley is part of the Safex instructional team\, and has facilitated training on ergonomics\, hazard communication\, fundamentals of industrial hygiene\, LOTO\, noise exposure\, silica and other safety topics.\n\n\n\nAshley attended the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) Leadership Workshop and is participating in the Conway Family Business Center Leadership Development Program.
