DESCRIPTION:Topic: : Ergonomics\n\nSpeaker: Kelly Clayton-Ott\, Ergonomist Specialist\, Bureau of Workers' Compensation\n\n\n\nAs a consultant my focus is to help employers identify ergonomic risks then offer solutions which incorporate cultural aspects.  Our goal is to reduce exposure to ergonomic risk factors.    We offer services such as Safety or ergonomics team development including training on how to reduce ergonomic risk factors.  We conduct ergonomic reviews and assess various tasks and workstation design then develop improvement strategies.   Based on observations we prepare written reports to advise and outline recommendations which should help employers reduce employee exposure to various ergonomic risk factors.  I also assist with BWC Safety Councils\, participate on the Safety Council Steering Committee's and our BWC Annual  Safety Congress.
