Topic: Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation History and Program Updates
Speaker: Scott A. St. Clair, Regional Business Consultant, Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation
Scott St. Clair, a Regional Business Consultant for the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC), has been with the agency for over 30 years.
As a Regional Business Consultant, Scott is responsible for working with individual companies on risk management strategies, education, and awareness to help lower costs and prevent injuries. He partners with Chambers of Commerce and various business and civic associations to help educate on compensation issues and to promote awareness of workers’ compensation improvements. Scott works with various agencies to assist with business expansion and retention in Ohio. He is also an active instructor with the Division of Safety and Hygiene.
Scott is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Ecology and Columbus State Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Hospitality Management.
