Mechanical Inspector Class V, State of Ohio (PO1919) having demonstrated code and compliance knowledge through an examination process set forth by the State of Ohio pursuant to the provisions of the Administrative Code and requirements of Section 3781.10(E) of the Ohio Revised Code.

Joint Canadian Subcommittee/U.S. Technical Advisory Group (CSST); Voting Member

Chairman of the Canadian Standards of America (CSA) LC 4 Technical Committee (2005).

Committee Member of the Building Energy Codes and Standards Committee (BECS), American Gas Association.

Alternative Voting (ASC Z223) Committee Member, Representing the American Gas Association, for the National Fuel Gas Code, NFPA 54, (2018 edition).

20 year member of the Dominon Delivery Emergency Response Team, responsible for investigating explosions, fires and carbon monoxide incidents related to natural gas.

Current training responsibilities include:
    Training of Dominion 350+ Operations personnel in two states.  Dominion Energy Ohio (Northeast Ohio, including Lima and Marietta), Dominion Energy (West Virginia), on company procedures, standards, policies, codes, basics of natural gas, natural gas utilization equipment, first response, leak investigations, gas regulation and measurement, carbon monoxide (CO) prevention and investigations, safety and other related areas.

    Train and assist safety forces such as Local Fire and Police Departments to respond to natural gas emergencies.  I have trained over 3000 fire fighters and first responders to respond safely to gas emergencies.

    Training and assistance for local building officials on natural gas procedures, standards and codes upon request.

    Seminars provided for local plumbing and HVAC contractors.
