Speaker: Zachary Kiehl - CEO & Co-Founder - VigiLife, Inc.
Presentation Description: Through an interactive and engaging presentation based loosely on the James Bond franchise, VigiLife CEO Zach Kiehl and his team will take participants through a discussion on the history and future of health and safety technologies (i.e., gadgets) for personal and enterprise use. Participants will gain a better understanding of the latest technology trends and opportunities capable of improving job site safety, efficiency, and culture.
Speaker Bio: Mr. Kiehl is the CEO and principal engineer of VigiLife, a connected health & safety technology company that leverages wearable sensors, contextual analytics, and intuitive software to protect and enrich the lives of those at risk. VigiLife’s SafeGuard technology was built through years of R&D with private and public entities, such as the US’s Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and several Fortune 500 companies. SafeGuard has been applied for real-time worker safety tracking for use cases such as confined spaces, industrial hygiene, and emergency response. Zach holds an MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, as well as an MS and BS in biomedical engineering from Wright State University. Mr. Kiehl is also a Project Management Professional (PMP), has authored many technical publications and patents, and has been an invited speaker and panelist at leading private sector and public sector events.
