Speaker: Jodi Salvo, LSW, OCPC, Director of Substance Use Prevention Services |OhioGuidestone
Jodi Salvo, LSW, OCPC, serves as the Director of Substance Use Prevention Services at OhioGuidestone. With a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Marywood University and certification as an Ohio Certified Prevention Consultant, Jodi leads initiatives in school-based prevention education, youth-led programming, mental health promotion, and coordinates Empower Tusc (formerly known as the Tuscarawas County Anti-Drug Coalition). As a seasoned public speaker, she addresses diverse prevention topics and is actively involved in various professional organizations. Jodi's roles include Board membership on the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapy Board, past presidency of Ohio’s Statewide Prevention Coalition Association, and current service on their Advisory Council. Additionally, she serves as a board member for the Ohio Prevention Professional’s Association. Jodi's dedication lies in preventing youth substance use, fortifying families and communities, with the overarching goal of seeing communities healthy, freed of substances, and thriving.
