Description

Topic: Rethinking Leadership: How to Cultivate a Safer and More Resilient Workplace
Speakers:   Mike Thompson, Owner, Mountain View Leadership

Session Description:
True leadership isn’t about enforcing compliance—it’s about building trust. We’ll explore three powerful pillars that form the foundation of a safer, more resilient workplace: Communication that’s clear, open, and courageous; Connection that fosters psychological safety and mutual respect; and Culture that sustains these values from the ground up.

This session will challenge traditional assumptions and offer practical, human-centered strategies to help leaders of all levels foster environments where people—and safety—can thrive.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discover how shifting from authority-based leadership to relationship-centered leadership can transform safety outcomes and build lasting trust across teams.
  • Learn how to foster open, honest, and courageous dialogue that not only prevents incidents—but creates a workplace where people feel seen, heard, and valued.
  • Explore practical strategies to embed safety into the heart of your workplace culture—where resilience grows, connection thrives, and every employee feels empowered to lead from where they are.
