Topic: The Standards-Based Risk Assessment & Mitigation Approach for Manufacturing Machinery
Mark is responsible for helping IMS’s clients properly apply machine safety technologies and attain regulatory compliance while maximizing manufacturing productivity. In this role, Mark provides consultation and solution engineering that integrates machine guarding, risk reduction methods and safety automation into manufacturing machine controls where people and machines collaborate.
Mark has been in the automation industry for over 40 years. Prior to his current position, Mark was with Rockwell Automation for more than 30 years, in various commercial, product and business management roles. There Mark led a team of some of the world’s foremost machine safety experts to develop the global market for machine safety and automation technology and techniques. Mark joined IMS in 2020.
Mark earned Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from Malone College in Canton, Ohio, a Certificate of Industrial Distribution Management from Texas A&M University and a certifications in Machine Safety and Industrial Cybersecurity from TÜV Rheinland.
